1786/341/MY/NAMRC/17 Welding Manipulator The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Welding Manipulator on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Nuclear AMRC Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of Requirement Nuclear AMRC require manipulation equipment to facilitate large scale diode laser cladding work. At current the Nuclear AMRC do not have the capability to manipulate large geometry components typical of small modular reactors (SMRs). By targeting this capability, potential work within the SMR market will be achievable and large assembly demonstrators can be manufactured.
