Tender description

Applications are invited from experienced, flexible and highly-motivated personnel for a role of Project Manager for the new expanded network. The duties of this position will include:  Working alongside an existing project manager to facilitate the on-going development of the Historic Towns Network through the expansion and transformation of the IWTN  Management of the Historic Towns Network including the collection of membership fees  Work in partnership with the Heritage Council’s Head of Conservation, Grants Officer and Financial Controller, as well as other staff to administer Heritage Council grant aided projects to members of the Historic Towns Network.  Contribute to the drafting and implementation of the Historic Towns Network 3-year Action Plan 2017-20  Facilitate the on-going development of the Historic Towns Network including links with European Partners  Organise national conferences and public events for example during Heritage Week.  Assist in the development of town teams in member towns.  Provide advice on heritage-led urban regeneration to town teams in member towns  Coordinate and contribute to research projects and advisory documents.  Develop joint strategies with the Department of the Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Fáilte Ireland, local government and the Northern Ireland Department of Communities as well as Leader local development groups.  Contribute to the develop and implementation of a Marketing and Development Strategy for the Historic Towns Network.  Contribute to the development of education and training programmes for member towns  Ongoing development of the project website and social media resources as well as other communication resources as appropriate  Prepare management, policy and financial reports for the Management Committee (comprised of member towns, local and national government) and for the Heritage Council board as directed  Liaise with all member town teams to facilitate the develop
