Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (as host of the NHS London Procurement Partnership) is seeking to establish a Facilities Management (FM) framework. This framework will consist of three lots; — Lot 1 Integrated Hard (BEMS) & Soft Facilities Management Fully Managed Services, — Lot 2 Hard Facilities Management — Building & Engineering Maintenance Services (BEMS) — Lot 3, Soft FM (Fully Managed Service) The framework shall be open to LPP member bodies as listed at: http://www.lpp.nhs.uk/about-lpp/our-members/ and any new LPP members for the duration of the contract; plus any other NHS and Public Sector bodies located in England, subject to approval of LPP and any successor organisations of the above. Lot 1 — A fully managed service for both Building & Engineering, Hard FM and Soft FM services primarily in healthcare environments and also wider public sector encompassing - Fully Managed Building & Engineering Maintenance Service comprising all or some of; — Cooling & Refrigeration — Chillers, Condensers & Split A/Cs; — Air Handling Units, Filters, Ventilation & Extraction; — Lifts, Escalators & Conveyance Systems; — Patient Hoists; — Water Systems — Servicing, Legionella Testing, Thermostatic Mixing Valves, Water Hygiene & Associated Plant; — Fire Systems — Fire Alarm Systems, Smoke/ Heat Detection Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Extinguishers & Hose Reels; — Boilers & Associated Plant; — Building Management Systems & Automatic Control Systems; — Security, Access Control, Intruder and CCTV Systems; — UPS & Generators; — Portable Appliance Testing & Fixed Wire Testing; — Automatic Doors; — Medical Gas Pipeline & Equipment Maintenance. Fully Managed Service for Soft Facilities Management services, within Public Buildings and Healthcare Environments, including but not limited to, the provision of a fully managed service for the following services: — Front of house & Switchboard services; — Portering services; — Post Room & Postal services; — Office services; — Administration services; — Room booking services; — Accommodation management services; — Reprographic services; — Medical record management and scanning services; — Electronic and physical archiving; — Waste management and disposal service; — Garden and internal plants maintenance, and/ or Energy and Utilities management, within Public Buildings and Healthcare environments; — Cleaning Services within Public Buildings and Healthcare environments including; o General cleaning services (clinical and non-clinical areas) o Window cleaning services — Pest control and prevention services; — Catering Services within Public Buildings and Healthcare environments including; o Patient catering o Staff and visitor catering o Retail services o Vending machine services o Hospitality and function catering — Linen and Laundry Services to Public Buildings and Healthcare environments including; o Wash & return service o Linen and other textile hire o Theatre packs o Linen vending machines services o Top-up service o Private patient linen service o Return to sender service o Curtains — Security and Manned Guarding Services to Public Buildings and Healthcare environments. This could range from static guards, escorts, investigations and reporting, car park and traffic management, CCTV and security access control management for example.
