Provision of All Age Carers Services in Gateshead

Gateshead Council and Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group (NGCCG) will shortly be undertaking a tender process to appoint suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the Provision of All Age Carers Services in Gateshead. The aim of the service will be to: Keep carers informed Support carers to look after their health and well being Offer carers a break from caring Raise awareness of the role of carers The contract will be divided into 3 Lots:- Lot 1 - Young Carers Service Lot 2 - Adult Carers Service Lot 3 - Carer Relief The tender process will consist of a Selection and Award stage. The Selection Questionnaire will be evaluated on a PASS/FAIL basis and only bidders that achieve a pass at the Selection stage can be eligible to be awarded the Contract. Therefore, to assist potential bidders to prepare for the tender process and have an understanding of the mandatory requirements needed to achieve a PASS at the Selection stage, organisations are invited to review the attached draft Selection Questionnaire (which is the form mandated by the Crown Commercial Service pursuant to PPN 08/16).
