Prevent - Online Learning Course and Resources for Learners

A contract was awarded to develop a prevent online learner training package. This project aimed to support providers in the further education (FE) and training sector make sure their learners are taught about the dangers of extremism, how to keep themselves safe from extremism and about the importance of British values to them and their communities. Improvements included: - Learners' knowledge and understanding of radicalisation and extremism - Learners' ability to apply this understanding with respect to their own experience and context - Learners' critical thinking skills especially when applied to issues surrounding radicalisation and extremism - Learners' knowledge and understanding of British values and feelings of inclusion in UK society - Staff confidence in teaching or supporting learners in resisting radicalisation and extremism and in exemplifying and promoting British values.
