Tender description
Hot wire anemometer measurement system —A hot wire anemometer system is required to produce time histories of velocities at points around moving vehicle models on the TRAIN Rig — Velocities in minimum range of 0 to 40m/s, with a minimum accuracy of ±1 %, at a minimum sampling rate of 1000 samples/sec. Ideally velocities of 0 to 100m/s, accuracies ±0.2m/s and 10k samples/sec. — Quotes will be provided for an 8, 16, 32 and 64 channel system, (including suitable Data Acquisition System (DAQ)), for that number of single wire probes, and half that number of 2D cross wire probes and 3D probes. — The necessary calibration equipment shall be provided. — A full data logging and processing system(s) shall be provided, with the ability to download data to all common analysis platforms. Ideally an ability to export data for import into Matlab. — Ideally Probes should be ‘plug and play’ i.e. they plug into the DAQ and enable rapid data acquisition.
