Tender description

The Council is creating an Accredited List for day opportunity support. Primarily, it will be used by people in receipt of Council funded Individual Service Funds (ISF) and Direct Payments (DP), however, it could also be used by people who fund their own care and support and commissioned services. The Accredited List is a tool, which is set up, monitored and updated by the Council. It will allow people in Thurrock who are looking for support in using their Personal Budget to choose from a list of providers that adhere to certain quality and safety standards. Please note due to the nature of the project, this exercise is not strictly following the Open Procedure. The Council is operating this procurement under the Light Touch Regime for Social and Other Specific Services, as set out in the PCR 2015, at Section 7 (Regulations 74 to 77) and Schedule 3.
