Tender description

North Yorkshire County Council with the CCG' currently commission services across North Yorkshire to provide ‘sitting services’ for carers of adults in order to contribute to their well-being and help continue with their caring role. The service is for carers in order to give them a break from caring on a regular basis. This has been offered by allowing carers to go out by providing a sitter for their cared for person or for the cared for person to be taken out. The current contracts end on the 31.3.2018 and the proposal is to procure a new Carers Sitting Service through an open tendering process and have the service in place to start on the 1.4.2018.
