Fostering Recruitment - Provider Engagement Event

Dorset County Council has recently made the decision to change the way we provide fostering services. We are deeply committed to providing the best possible care for children, close to home and so have ambitious plans to significantly increase the number of foster carers in Dorset. We have redesigned the way our fostering team provides assessment and support services, and are investing in changing our fees and allowances to make them simpler, more competitive and to reward those that are highly skilled. We are looking for an organisation to work with us to help us deliver on this ambition. An organisation that is able to get our message out, generate enquiries and follow up potential leads ensuring that when we undertake assessments of potential foster carers that these are focused on those that have the best chance of being approved. We are also interested in hearing about other types of support or services that you could provide that would help us to provide a high quality fostering service in Dorset.
