Community MSK Spinal Triage Service on behalf of NHS Harrow CCG

Tender description

The aim of the service is to provide a comprehensive, patient-centred, MSK Spinal Triage service with high quality, efficient service for Harrow patients aged 18 and over. The interim contract award for up to 18 months and the service will be integrated into the Community physiotherapy contract with existing three providers (HH CIC, Physiolink and LNWHT DA) that include activities within the same speciality. This will enable the Contracting Authority to focus its resources to engage with both incumbent and the wider market to review and develop a service specification for a broader, integrated MSK service. Market engagement will commence early 2018 through the publishing of a Prior Information Notice (PIN) on OJEU and an Early Engagement Notice via Contracts Finder to invite expressions of interest to deliver future MSK and to assist the Contracting Authority to specify its future requirements. Following this market engagement, the Contracting Authority will finalise its commissioning intentions for a substantive and longer term contract for the provision of MSK services which are intended to commence 2019, ensuring appropriate transparency and opportunity for interested providers at that time.
