Summary of the work Responsibility for delivery and delivery management of Clinical Triage Platform (CTP) programme outcomes, supporting the Programme Head by overseeing the delivery of their vision for the programme. . Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length 6 months Latest start date Monday 11 December 2017 Who Speclialist Work With CTP Programme Head Domain Programme Director and other Programme Heads CTP – Programme Delivery Teams What Specialists Work On Responsible for overall delivery management and meeting key ministerial commitments: to review; facilitate, lead and improve organisational programme delivery teams to improve velocity and outputs, and ensure teams are focusing on the highest priority outcomes. Review/improve ways of working (planning, quality and risk/issue tracking, dependency management), prioritising and creation of a coherent programme backlog), to optimise programme performance, quality and output. Improve reporting cross programme, ensuring accurate, concise and compliant reports are submitted as required. Improve delivery management capability, mentoring and transferring knowledge to existing resources. Assist in recruiting/on boarding/handover to permanent candidate. Skills & Experience • Minimum 5 years experience managing complex government projects • Proven ability delivering large scale projects with experience of organisational design and change management • Proven experience delivering at programme/project inception and into delivery • Proven ability to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to service delivery • Able to be articulate and credible at a senior level, delivering accurate reporting as to the current state of play with regard to the delivery of the service • Experience in monitoring, managing and reporting finances on multi million pound projects • Experience in supporting procurement and commercial management functions to source required outcomes • Experience in leading a collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of multidisciplinary teams/external suppliers • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence external partners, suppliers, stakeholders and customers to secure mutually beneficial outcomes • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity, ability to coherently articulate the steps to achieve clarity on ambiguous strategic priorities Nice to Haves • Knowledge and experience of working within the NHS • Knowledge and experience of working within Urgent & Emergency Care Work Location Primary locations: Skipton House 80 London Rd London SE1 6LH and 8th Floor Bridgewater Place Water Lane Leeds LS11 5BZ Working Arrangments In named office locations when required for delivery, Regular travel between Leeds and London is required Security Clearance Basic security checks No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria • Have a 'can-do' attitude for delivery • Be able to work well with multiple teams • Take responsibility for communicating with stakeholders • Have the ability to challenge in a healthy way • Shares knowledge across teams • Proven ability to manage and building relationships with multiple stakeholders and suppliers Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 70% Cultural fit 10% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers 1.
