Tender description
The Authority has a requirement for the supply of equipment for the EDS Project. The requirement is in Lots as follows: Recombiner condenser; High Temperature Recombiner Module; Dryer modules; Passivation System; Lots made up of the above Lots. The UK Atomic Energy Authority is a non-departmental government body carrying out research into the potential of nuclear fusion as a future source of energy. The Authority operates JET with the aim of magnetically confining and studying the behaviour of plasma in conditions and dimensions approaching those required in a fusion reactor. The authority has a requirement to replace equipment within the Exhaust Detritiation System (EDS).
