Tender description

To provide secretariat services to the Sustainable Scotland Network (hereinafter SSN) and support mandatory Public Bodies Climate Change Reporting duties. The Scottish Government's Energy and Climate Change Directorate is seeking a single suitably qualified and experienced Contractor (hereinafter the Supplier) to provide secretariat services to the Sustainable Scotland Network (hereinafter SSN) and support mandatory Public Bodies Climate Change Reporting duties. Supported by the Scottish Government, SSN is a national network for public sector professionals working on sustainable development and climate change. The purpose of the SSN is to provide: — A bridge between Scottish Government policy objectives and public sector climate change action. — A trusted space for information exchange, dialogue, learning and collaboration among public sector professionals. — A champion for sustainable development and climate change good practice within the public sector. — Scottish Government supports SSN members to fulfil their public bodies legislative duties relating to climate change, as set out in the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009, and to support the delivery of the Scottish Government's climate change policy priorities.
