Nottingham City CCG is looking for a Single Provider or a Consortium Bid (with a Lead Provider) to manage local termination of pregnancy services as below: Single point of access for elective Terminations of Pregnancy: • Telephone referral • E-referral • Nottingham location(s) • Unplanned pregnancy advice and counselling • Obstetric ultrasound • Early termination procedures under 9 weeks • Medical / surgical termination procedures up to 14 weeks • Medical/ surgical terminations 14 to 18 weeks (including an option of this service locally) • Counselling and aftercare • Long acting reversible contraception services The key objectives of Nottingham City CCG are to commission high quality services tailored to meet the needs of our local population that: • Offer easy access in Nottingham • Offer innovative approaches to service delivery to meet local needs and is compliant with evidence-based best practice • Work in an integrated and co-ordinated way with other providers, e.g. GPs and contraceptive and sexual health services in Nottingham • Are affordable and ensure optimum value for money, quality and productivity
