Tender description

Framework Agreement for the Provision of Design, Measure, Supply and Installation of Aluminium Windows, Doors and Curtain Walling. This Framework will be available for use by Durham County Council, in respect of Council premises and other organisation's premises, where they have entered into a Service Level Agreement with Durham County Council. The Framework will operate Council wide and may be required for any Council department for various types of public and private premises which may include: Schools; academies; leisure centres; libraries; office accommodation; other educational establishments; community; Fire and Rescue premises within Durham and Darlington; Durham Constabulary Premises; and factory units throughout County Durham. This Framework Agreement (‘the Contract’) is for Design, Measure, Supply and Installation of Aluminium Windows, Doors and Curtain Walling on behalf of Durham County Council. The expected start date for the proposed contract is 1.10.2017. The expected end date for the proposed contract is 30.9.2019. The Framework Agreement duration is therefore 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 2 x 12 months. The duration of the contract is therefore up to a maximum of 4 years.
