Tender description
The London Borough of Newham wishes to procure Refuge provision for victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence based within the borough. This procurement will take place next year with a contract notice expected in April 2018. The new contract will commence in December 2018. The proposed outcomes for the Refuge service are to: — Improve the safety of victims of Domestic & Sexual Violence (DSV) through working with external agencies. — Reduce incidents of tenancy breakdown and increase opportunities for independent living. — Ensure victims experience improvements in their health, wellbeing and quality of life. — Increase survivors' resilience and resources to keep themselves safe. — Ensure victims of DSV have access to justice. — Ensure that victims develop strong and resilient support networks. Ensure that women and children fleeing domestic and sexual violence have access to secure accommodation where they can receive support to develop their resilience.
