Tender description

The Council is seeking an experienced contractor to provide: — Static security cover for out of hours at the Council's car parks involving: o Customer service to car parks users including face to face, over the intercom and on the telephone, o Using the Council's car parking computer control equipment; — Static security cover during daytime and evenings at the Council's Depot Sites involving: o Gatekeeping duties including customer service. o Use of intercom and access control system; — A mobile guarding service for Council car parks, Cowley Road sites, Cambridge Crematorium, Newmarket Road Cemetery, Orwell House / Orwell Furlong; — Key holding services including responding to intruder and fire alarm activations; — Building access to include locking and unlocking buildings; — Provide additional officers for ad-hoc security requirements at Council run facilities. (Sites as listed in Appendix A to the specification.) TUPE may apply. Payment of the Real Living Wage is a contractual requirement.
