The Radiation Protection Service at Velindre Cancer Centre supplies personal radiation dosimetry materials to a client base primarily consisting of all NHS establishments in Wales and also a range of other customers across the UK. Materials are purchased from a third party supplier and re-supplied to customers using the RPS Cardiff corporate identity. Expressions of interest are sought from suitable suppliers to fulfil this requirement The supplier of Personal Radiation Dosimetry materials shall be recognised by HSE as an Approved Dosimetry Service, as defined in the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999.
