Tender description

Caerphilly County Borough Council protects its network from external threats by means of an infrastructure based on a dual layered firewall architecture. The invitation to tender is for the goods and services to improve and maintain the architecture and applies to the whole firewall solution and its associated parts including, but not limited to, the firewall appliances and management consoles. The invitation to tender is for the following goods and services and applies to the whole firewall solution and its associated parts including, but not limited to, the firewall appliances and management consoles. The provision of support and maintenance for all hardware and software (this will include software at all levels within the solution stack). The provision of goods as necessary to facilitate repairs to the firewall solution, this will include all necessary software to enable goods to work seamlessly within the solution. The provision of goods to replace or compliment the existing solution, this will include all necessary software to enable goods to work seamlessly within the solution. The provision of software to fix identified problems within the solution, installation of such software will be included in the price of the tender.
