Tender description
The London Borough of Newham intends to let an interim contract to its existing Domestic and Sexual Violence Refuge Services provider pending a procurement exercise which is expected to be concluded by December 2018. The outcomes for the Refuge service are to: Improve the safety of victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence (DSV) through working with external agencies, Reduce incidents of tenancy breakdown and increase opportunities for independent living, Ensure victims experience improvements in their health, wellbeing and quality of life, Increase survivors' resilience and resources to keep themselves safe, Ensure victims of DSV have access to justice, Ensure that victims develop strong and resilient support networks, Ensure that women and children fleeing domestic and sexual violence have access to secure accommodation where they can receive support to develop their resilience.
