Hampshire County Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to deliver Local Healthwatch (LHW) for Hampshire. LHW is the independent champion for people using health and social care services. It exists to make sure that people are at the heart of care. The main purpose of the service is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services and to speak out on their behalf. LHW for Hampshire has 2 key service elements, Public and Patient Involvement and Information, Signposting and Advice services. The contract starts on 1.4.2018 and is for an initial period of 3 years with 2 additional 12 month extension periods. Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire, and complete and submit the tender return document together with any supporting information requested by 14.00 on Tuesday 12.12.2017. This contract opportunity is for the delivery of Local Healthwatch for the Hampshire County Council area. This currently includes two key service elements, Public & Patient Involvement and Information, Signposting and Advice services. The Council may during the term of the contract include other similar services where synergies exist and opportunities for streamlining services and/or efficiencies present themselves. The current annual budget for the delivery of Local Healthwatch is 280 000 GBP per annum. The estimated contract value in this notice allows for the potential addition of other similar services.
