Tender description

The Council requires a Provider who shall operate and maintain a call handling system which is fully compatible with alarm equipment and Telecare Peripherals installed or provided by the Council for the benefit of Service Users. The service is required 24 hours per day, 365 days per year including bank and public holidays for the benefit of adults and older people assessed by the Council as requiring this service who live within the North Ayrshire Council area which includes the islands of Arran and Cumbrae. The Provider shall operate and maintain a call handling system that is fully compatible with alarm equipment and Telecare Peripherals installed or provided by the Council for the benefit of Service Users. Service Users will include adults and older people assessed by the Council Health and Social Care Partnership as requiring a Service and who live within the North Ayrshire Council area. The Provider shall provide a Service 24 hours per day, 365 days per year including bank and public holidays.
