Tender description

The Shared Accommodation service for Children in Care and Care Leavers is to provide a full range of stable, safe, well maintained accommodation for Service Users nominated by the Council. Shared Accommodation in the context is residential property units to accommodate individual young people. This accommodation forms an important part of the care and support that Children in Care and Care Leavers receive on their pathway to independence. The service will be delivered to:- • 16 and 17 year old Children in Care. It is expected that the vast majority of these Service Users will be Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC). • 18+ Care Leavers including Asylum Care Leavers. The service has 3 main aspects; 1 Accommodation Brokerage 2 Property and Facilities Management 3 Move In Arrangements
