Tender description

Canterbury City Council (‘the Council’) wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the provision of Welfare Rights and Housing Advice Service 2018-20 and invites prospective suppliers to submit a proposal to meet the Council's requirements. Canterbury City Council wants to commission information and advice services with a particular focus on welfare rights and housing advice. Based on strong evidence of continuing local need, the provider will need to offer a range of welfare rights and housing advice services for local people. The council wants to encourage early intervention and targeting of services to meet those in most need. This will help to ensure effective coordination and information sharing on service capacity and delivery issues to avoid duplication and ensure effective referrals. The provider/s will ensure that the services offered fully align with and compliment the district wide services offered by Canterbury City Council, in particular through the Housing and Community Services Teams.
