Lot 1 — SMaRT at Swansea University seeks to appoint a Contractor for the design, supply, installation and calibration of 2x floor mounted, twin column, hydraulic operated mechanical test frames. Lot 2 — SMaRT seeks to appoint a Contractor for the design, supply, installation and calibration of a single, low load capacity, twin column, hydraulic operated mechanical test frame. SMaRT at Swansea University seeks to appoint a Contractor for the design, supply, installation and calibration of 2x floor mounted, twin column, hydraulic operated mechanical test frames The Contractor will design, supply and install these hydraulic rigs in accordance with normal industry standards. It is expected that the mechanical test frames will be utilised for at least 80 % of any given period, with operations spanning 24 hours / 365 days per year. It is envisaged that a one year warranty, service and maintenance contract will be offered against each test frame.
