Tender description

The Trust requires the provision of Knowledge, Library & Information Services (‘the Services’) within the Doncaster Health Community/Doncaster Metropolitan Borough area (covering the Trust sites at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Montagu Hospital) and from its site at Bassetlaw Hospital, Worksop. The Trust requires the provision of Knowledge, Library & Information Services (‘the Services’) within the Doncaster Health Community/Doncaster Metropolitan Borough area (covering the Trust sites at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Montagu Hospital) and from its site at Bassetlaw Hospital, Worksop This stems from a local authority's responsibility to provide services under the Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964 to its local community — Doncaster Libraries, in this agreement, extends this to the staff, students and patients of the Trust as they live, work or study in the local authority area and extended this as part of the extension to the services provided to staff and students based at Bassetlaw when the Trust asked Doncaster Council to take over its provision of services. — Provision of book stock, resources and e-resources for staff, students and patients to use and access in the Leisure Library. — Provision of book stock and audio material for Ward Library Service provision to patients at DRI, Montagu and Tickhill Road Hospitals. — Provision of Doncaster Libraries open access PCs for staff, students and patients to use and access in the Leisure Library. — Service has to be managed by a qualified Chartered Librarian.
