Tender description

The Council has invested in training to provide key knowledge and understanding in relation to the Mental Capacity Care Act (2005) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (2009), (MCA & DoLS), when applied to adults and children. We want to continue to develop this provision by investing in a training programme that has a particular focus upon ensuring that the principles at the heart of MCA are embedded into practice. We are looking for a training provider to design and deliver the whole of a programme of learning for staff in a range of job roles across Adult Services. This will include residential care staff, community based staff, staff who undertake different forms of assessment and who identify pathways of service provision as well as Social Workers and Team Managers.
