Tender description
Hertfordshire County Council (the Council) is tendering to deliver a Community HIV Support Service in Hertfordshire The primary aim of the Service is to provide assessment, co-ordination and advocacy for those whose social concerns would otherwise impair their adherence to Antiretroviral Therapy (ART). These main aims can be categorised as: o Increasing awareness of HIV, and the accessibility of mainstream community services for people with the condition by supporting organisations and reducing stigma o Providing short term practical and emotional support for people diagnosed with HIV, and their carer/ family o Providing longer term support for 'complex' individuals (and their family/ carer), triaging to appropriate services o Proactively identifying individuals who may benefit from the Service, ensuring the Service is accessible, flexible and appropriate for the demography of Hertfordshire This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to 'express interest' which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system.
