Summary of the work IPSA are implementing an integrated ERP solution to replace a variety of corporate systems. We are seeking a SQL data migration specialist to design and develop scripts that will extract data from existing systems and transform it to match the target schema. Specialist role Developer Expected Contract Length 3 Months (60 days) Latest start date Monday 30 October 2017 Maximum Day Rate Up to £650 per day for an exceptional candidate Who Speclialist Work With The developer will work closely with a technical lead that will provide the business requirements for the data migration and integration work. Some interaction with technical as-is/to-be system supplier staff may be required as well as liaison with internal technical and business stakeholders. What Specialists Work On 1.) Data migration technical requirements analysis 2.) Define Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) technical approach 3.) Iterative development and testing of SQL based ETL scripts 4.) Running scripts in live data migration environments 5.) Technical post-migration reconciliation testing 6.) Additional ad hoc SQL scripting as needed (e.g. to identify and correct data quality issues, support integration requirements etc.) 7.) Liaison with technical and business stakeholders Skills & Experience • Extensive MS SQL development experience • Extensive experience designing and developing ETL solutions for data migration • Experience producing detailed technical designs from higher-level business requirements • Database administration (DBA) experience in SQL Server Nice to Haves Experience working with the UNIT4 Business World On! ERP solution (formerly Agresso) Work Location The IPSA, 4th Floor, 30 Millbank, London, SW1P 4DU Working Arrangments Successful candidate will be available to work onsite full time. No expenses can be provided. Security Clearance CTC minimum held at the time of application.
