Islington Council are looking to procure a new Building Materials, equipment, Tool and Plant Hire Contract. Key requirements for the new contract are to secure reliable, efficient and cost effective ordering, delivery and stock management processes for all building materials and equipment needed by the service through effective connections to existing IT systems used by Islington. This part of the contract will be delivered through the Islington dedicated managed store. The contract will also supply power tools and plant for hire to be used by a variety of trade operatives working across the repairs team. This will include the management of the equipment on hire and of the necessary health and safety checks, servicing and maintenance requirements of this equipment. This part of the contract may be delivered through the dedicated store or from a locally based store in the suppliers store network.
