Tender description
Norfolk County Council has awarded framework agreements under the Light Touch Regime to procure the provision of housing related support using accommodation based settings for: — Single people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. — Young people aged 16-24 who at risk of homelessness and social exclusion. — Victims of domestic abuse (women and their children). These services will support the principles of the Promoting Independence Strategy which includes a priority to enable people to get back on their feet as soon as possible following a crisis or set back. These services will support the housing and homelessness strategies of the City and District councils. The Providers will be required to collaborate closely with the other agencies in housing pathways to support people into independent living. The provision of housing related support using accommodation based settings for single people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. These services support the principles of the Promoting Independence Strategy which includes the priority to enable people to get back on their feet as soon as possible following a crisis or set back. Comprehensive support is required to help people manage complex needs including mental health problems and substance dependence. The provision of housing related support within an accommodation based setting for young people aged 16-24 at risk of homelessness and social exclusion. These services support the principles of the Promoting Independence Strategy which include the priority to enable people to get back on their feet as soon as possible following a crisis or set back. Comprehensive support is required to ensure that young people are safely accommodated and provided with the best opportunities to move into independent living and thrive. The provision of housing related support in refuges for victims of domestic abuse. The aim of the service is to provide temporary accommodation for up to 2 years with housing related support for women and their dependent children fleeing domestic abuse. A refuge is a safe house where women and any dependent children can be sure they are safe and where they can access emotional and practical support from staff who understand what they have been through.
