Tender description

Lancashire County Council is seeking to secure the provision of transport services for the haulage of waste and recyclable materials from 15 Household Waste Recycling Centres and 1 Community Recycling and Reuse Centre located within Lancashire to disposal facilities contracted by the Council. Lancashire County Council is seeking to secure the provision of transport services for the haulage of waste and recyclable materials from 6 Household Waste Recycling Centres located throughout Lancashire to disposal facilities contracted by the Council. The contract requires the provision of transport services for up to 12 waste types (non-recyclable, green, asbestos, cardboard, paper, cans, plastic bottles, glass, metal, inerts, mattresses, and hard plastics) from each Household Waste Recycling Centre and Community Recycling and Reuse Centre within the Lot to Council provided disposal facilities. This includes the provision of staff, equipment, vehicles and other resources required to provide the services. Approximately 5 500 movements per year, although there is no guarantee as to the actual number.
