Provision of Washroom Hygiene and Offensive/Hygiene Waste Disposal Service

Tender description

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council ("the Council") is seeking to appoint an experienced Contractor to provide Washroom and Hygiene Services. This service includes sanitary disposal, nappy disposal, sharps disposal, vending services and offensive waste disposal for all council buildings found across the Bradford District. This will cover (but is not limited to) offices, leisure centres, theatres, art galleries, public buildings and schools across the Bradford District. The contract will be for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend for an additional two x 12 month periods. This is subject to satisfactory contract performance of the Contractor and the Council still having the need for this arrangement. The current expenditure for this service is approximately £80,000 per year. This has been based on previous expenditure and this may be subject to change. Future volumes cannot be guaranteed by the Council and the this may increase or decrease due to our constent changing needs and in line with the Councils "Property Estate Reduction Programme".
