Casualty Simulation is a technique used to replicate injuries and medical conditions using artificial means, such as plastic and make up. It enables the training of practitioners without fear of real patient harm.The requirement is to procure a standardised module, to be held by Medical Regiments and Field Hospitals. This will reduce the need for ad-hoc equipment and reduce training costs. There will also be a need for single line consumables as single items run out (e.g. fake blood). It enables the training of practitioners without fear of real patient harm. UK Armed Forces require tri-service support for Casualty simulation. The procurement requires supply of both make up and moulage items predominately to our Warehouse facility in Donnigton in another delivery address is required. It will be indicated within the purchase order. The current formalised module is out of date and requires review following advances in the field. Our requirement dictates that we procure single items for standardised modules, to be held by Medical Regiments and Field Hospitals. There will also be a need for single line consumables as single items run out (e.g. fake blood).
