Hythe Promenade Hand Rails Replacement

Tender description

Along the Folkestone to Hythe promenade there are many steel hand rail locations and safety barriers to provide public safety whilst accessing the beach. Many sections are in poor condition, corroded, rotten and are a public safety concern. They also are unattractive when walking along the popular sea front. They are located at steps, ramps and areas of height along the top of the promenade/sea wall. The promenade railings from Fishermans Beach to Princess Parade are in particularly poor condition and the Council therefore wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the replacement of steel hand rails along this stretch (approx 2.5km). Keywords: Promeade, Steel Railings, Replacement, sea front, Hand rails
