Tender description

Provision of a professional independent advocacy service which focuses on support to enable older people to have their wishes heard, make their own choices and take control of their own lives. West Lothian Health and Care Partnership require a service provider to provide an independent advocacy for older people who are residents of West Lothian and who are living in or moving into/out of long term care home/hospital care settings. The overarching aim of the service is to provide a high standard of independent advocacy as defined in the service specification, which respects the autonomy, independence, freedoms and dignity of people ensuring that their views and opinions are accurately communicated and understood.
