Tender description

The nine Local Authority Public Health teams across Cheshire and Merseyside work together through the Champs Public Health Collaborative to enable greater access to public health expertise and advice than would otherwise be available through any single local authority. The Collaborative has received full backing from the nine local authority Chief Executives in Cheshire & Merseyside and is enabling each area to benefit from: • Maximised economies of scale • Increased impact by working together collectively • Enabled cross-organisational public health commissioning • Shared specialist public health expertise • Reduced duplication of effort • Continued professional development (CPD) programme and sharing best practice Keywords: public health, intelligence, research
