The contract is for the provision of 20 new build social housing accommodation at Devenish Drive, Monkstown to create: 4 5P3B General Needs Houses, 4 3P2B General Needs Houses, 4 2P1B General Needs Apartments, 6 3P2B Category 1 Elderly Apartments, 1 3P2Bw Generic Wheelchair Bungalow, 1 5P3Bw Complex Needs Bungalow. Total 20 units. Total 20 units Please note this mix may be subject to change based on the outcome of a planning application. The subject land located at Devenish Drive is a cleared site which extends to approx. 0.506 ha. It is currently an existing area of grassed open space with formal paths crossing the site in a north south axis. The site rises in an upward gradient towards Ards Drive. All boundaries are open and the site is surrounded by residential accommodation comprising of a mix of 1-storey, 2-storey and maisonette flats in the vicinity. The contractor will be responsible for all services etc. to develop this site and for providing, prior to completion, the relevant statutory approvals and documentation. The scheme is to be on site by early 2018. The contract period is anticipated to be 18 months.
