Tender description
Plymouth City Council Adult Social Care, in partnership with the NEW Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), is committed to commissioning high quality personal care and support services for people who are assessed as being in need of a service to enable them to remain living in their own home The Commissioners vision for the future of personal care is one of holistic, integrated and joined up provision whereby providers are able to offer a wide range of approaches including community domiciliary care, rapid response, dementia support and increasing levels of health care type services. In line with the UNISON Report, ‘Time To Care’, the service will have staff who are able to dedicate the time needed to carry out their caring role properly for service users. All personal care services will be person centred and focussed on delivering positive outcomes including maximising people’s independence, choice and control and be flexible in response to people’s wide ranging assessed needs.
