Tender description
To appoint Design Team members to facilitate the process of delivering the accommodation required in the redevelopment of the Highcroft site. Bids are requested from Consultant Parties for the whole design, procurement, construction and commissioning process. The Trust intends to appoint the following individual Design Team members: — Architect / Lead Consultant / Principal Designer, — Building Services (MEP) Design Consultant, — Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant, — Structural / Civil Engineer. The appointed Architect will act as Lead Consultant and Principal Designer for the scheme, as defined in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. The trust is proposing to undertake the redevelopment of the Highcroft site in Erdington. This is in order to provide ‘fit-for-purpose’ modern facilities that fully meet the requirements of all current NHS Guidance and all current Statutory Legislation, bringing together a number of standalone acute units, thus creating a better environment for service users, giving better economies of scale and reducing backlog maintenance issues.
