Tender description

Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome Trust seeks to appoint a multi-disciplinary design team for its Reach for the Sky project to sensitively stabilise, conserve, restore surviving buildings (Listed Grade 2*); create a new standalone Welcome Centre including a cafe and shop; develop the existing Officers' Accommodation Block into the central hub of the site with gallery, museum and learning spaces. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Architect lead multi-disciplinary design teams who wish to be considered for inclusion on a select list of tenderers to provide the highest standards of design, conservation and presentation. The appointment will include the following services: — Architect (Lead Consultant) incorporating Conservation design; Landscape design; and interior design and Contract Administration; — Structural Engineer; — Mechanical and Electrical Engineer; — Principal Designer (CDM); — Access Consultant; — Fire Engineer and Building Control.
