Tender description

NIE Networks' has a requirement for a fuel payment service (using fuel cards) for the supply of fuel for its fleet of approx. 390 commercial vehicles and specialist plant. The payment cards will enable the electronic payment for fuel. NIE Networks requires the provision of Bulk Fuel Storage Facilities with a 24 hr 7 day availability. Storage facilities are to be within a 10-15 mile radius of Belfast area. A minimum stock level of 65 000 litres of fuel equal to 10 days fuel is to be stocked at all times on a rolling basis. The Framework Agreement will be for a period of 5 years with an option, exercisable entirely at the discretion of NIE Networks and subject to the terms of the Framework Agreement, to extend by a further optional 2 year period ( total duration of 7 years). NIE Networks estimates that the total spend under the Framework Agreement could be 10 000 000 GBP. However, based on current requirements, the total spend is anticipated to be between 6 170 000 GBP & 8 650 000 GBP. Supply of fuel for Fleet and Bulk Fuel Storage Services.
