Tender description

Contract to support the development of an Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence. Service provider responsible for managing healthcare facility including equipment, supply chain, process improvement. Provision of modular theatre in year 1 and a new 8 Theatre Centre of Excellence by year 3. Provide a Managed Healthcare Facility to enable the Trust to undertake approx 7 000 adult elective orthopaedic cases per annum with target to increase to approx 11 500 per annum over the term of the contract. Provision of a modular theatre in Year 1 and additional x 8 operating theatres by Year 3 within a dedicated orthopaedic facility. Support the Trust to establish an innovation hub to undertake translational research to improve patient experience and patient outcomes and a centre for training for surgical teams to promote best practice.
