VIP In-flight Catering Service. Team Leidos would like to invite any company, who expresses an interest in this Notice, to supplier engagement meetings, prior to undertaking a formal tender process for the provision of a VIP In-Flight catering Service to RAF bases and the VIP ramp at Heathrow Airport. Team Leidos would like to invite any company, who expresses an interest in this Notice, to supplier engagement meetings, prior to undertaking a formal tender process for the provision of a VIP In-Flight catering Service. The date and meeting venue are to be confirmed. Please note this is not the start of a procurement process; a separate contract notice will be published to cover this requirement. Prior to inviting any supplier to the formal meeting Team Leidos would like to organise an initial telecom to discuss the requirement first. Any interested company must clearly demonstrate full compliance with all aspects of the service requirements stated below. Service Requirement 1. Must provide a VIP In-flight food cuisine service 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 2. Must be able deliver the required service to the following locations. — RAF station Brize Norton. — RAF station Benson. — RAF station Northolt. — The VIP Ramp at Heathrow Airport. — Please note, delivery to other Airports around the UK may be required, and the ability to serve the Greater London area is highly desirable. 3. Security — All company premises and delivery vehicles must be secure against forced entry. — All storage and preparation of food must be constantly monitored and Team Leidos must also have full visibility on the sub-contractor supply chain, in order to avoid the risk of possible food tampering. — A valid licence must be held to gain access to the VIP Ramp at Heathrow Airport. Evidence of licence ownership must be submitted at the tender stage, which is expected to be February 2018. — The future contractor must allow possible security screening of required company personnel to have access to all RAF stations. 4. Liability cover — Airside liability and Insurance cover, at a minimum of 50 Million US Dollars. — Public liability cover at a minimum of £5 Million GBP. 5. Food Safety & Quality — Adherence to specific Food Quality Standards For example Codex standards, Food Safety Act, The Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations or equivalent. To enable Team Leidos to finalise arrangements for the initial telecom, interested suppliers are required to send an email expressing their interest to philip.taylor@leidos.com including a list of your potential attendees and a brief of overview (or a website link) of the Goods/Services which might be offered. Additional information Leidos Supply Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos Europe Ltd is undertaking this procurement as body governed by public law and as subcontractor to Leidos Europe Ltd to meet a requirement of the UK Ministry of Defence pursuant to the Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation Delivery Partner Contract LCST/0001 dated 16 April 2015 between Leidos Europe Ltd and the UK Ministry of Defence.
