Tender description

Ofqual would like to appoint a supplier(s) to carry out 2 complementary Perceptions Surveys, in 2 Lots: Lot 1 focusing on perceptions of GCSEs and A Levels, and Lot 2 focusing on employer perceptions of qualifications. Lot 1 will form the next waves, 16 and 17 of our Annual Perceptions Survey, which focuses on perceptions of GCSEs and A Levels, as well as other qualifications in England. The Supplier will be required to distribute the survey, gather evidence from a representative sample of stakeholders, analyse the data and present the findings in a report that will be published as part of Ofqual's Official Statistics, as was done for waves 14 and 15. Lot 2 will build on our Employer Qualifications Perceptions Survey, and would form a second wave of data of employer perceptions of vocational and technical qualifications, Functional Skills qualifications and end-point assessments in apprenticeships, and would include additional interviews of learners and teaching staff. The Supplier will be required to complete the questionnaire design and testing, design an approach to sampling, recruit the sample, collect relevant data, carry out data analysis and write an appropriate report of the findings.
