Tender description

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is the Central Competent Authority for the delivery of official controls on food in England and Wales. This tender is for Laundry Service Provision in FSA approved establishments in England and Wales. The service will be split across 3 Lots: Lot 1 — Purchase of garments, clean laundry lockers, soiled garment bins and Anti Fatigue Mats. Lot 2 — Collection, laundering, repair and delivery of garments to FSA approved establishments in England and Wales. Lot 3 — Disposal of garments at the end of their usable life. This is a transitional contract with a duration of 1 year with a possible extension of up to 1 year. The intention is to follow this contract with a 3 year contract with a possible extension of 2 years. The estimated timeline to issue the Invitation to Tender is October 2017 and it will be open for 4 weeks Contract Start date will be 1.4.2018.
