Tender description

The London Borough of Hackney requires comprehensive insurance arrangements to be in place with effect from 1.4.2018 for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend the term for a further two (2) years. The total estimated value over 5 years is between 6 000 000 and 11 000 000 GBP. The London Borough of Hackney invites suitably experienced organisations that can provide cost effective insurance arrangements for the following Lots: Lot 1 — Property Insurance; Lot 2 — Liability Insurance; Lot 3 — Motor Fleet Insurance; Lot 4 — Group Personal Accident and Travel Insurance including School Journeys; Lot 5 — Terrorism Insurance and Lot 6 — Fine Art Insurance. Lot 1 — Property Insurance This Lot incorporates the following classes of business: — Material Damage, — General, — Housing, — Industrial and Commercial Properties, — Education, — Motor Vehicle Accumulation, — Business Interruption, — Additional Expenditure, — Loss of Rent, — Contract Works, — Money, — Computers, — Fidelity Guarantee, — Specified All risks. Lot 2 — Liability Insurance This Lot incorporates the following classes of business: — Employers Liability, — Public Liability (including Libel and Slander), — Officials Indemnity (including Land charges and Public Health Act), — Professional Indemnity, — Claims Handling. Lot 3 — Motor Fleet Insurance This Lot incorporates the following classes of business: — Motor Fleet. Lot 4 — Group Personal Accident and Travel Insurance including School Journeys This Lot incorporates the following classes of business: — Personal Accident, — Business Travel, — School Journey. Lot 5 — Terrorism Insurance This Lot incorporates the following classes of business: — First Loss Terrorism Cover. Lot 6 — Fine Art Insurance.
