Tender description

Wirral Borough Council invites applications to tender for a contract to provide an accommodation-based housing support service (Refuge) for women fleeing domestic abuse. Wirral Council is seeking to commission a safe and secure 12-bedded accommodation-based support service that will provide a place of safety for single women and women with families/children who have experienced, or who are at risk of, domestic abuse and/or harassment e.g. honour based violence, forced marriages. The service will aim to prevent homelessness, and to support people to manage and maintain independent living through the provision of housing support. The support provided will be solution focussed and aimed at resolving issues and preventing crisis.
