Tender description

The Department for International Development (DFID) is committed to increasing and improving the teaching and learning, at Key Stages 2 and 3, of issues related to global poverty in state schools across the UK, through Global Learning Projects (GLPs). This will allow more school leavers to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of global poverty and the ways it can be reduced. To ensure schools across the UK are supported, DFID intends to fund Global Learning Projects (GLPs) in Scotland and Wales. The Contracting Authority is in the process of designing a new UK development education programme that will commence at the start of the 2018/19 academic year. The current contract expired on 30.9.2017 and a bridging contract is required with the incumbent supplier to allow for completion of services.
