Tender description
A seven member External Quality Assurance (EQA) panel has been in place since December 2014. The purpose of the External Quality Assurance (EQA) panel is to support objective appraisal - for relevance and quality - of key documents being prepared by the Development Cooperation Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Appraisal is usually conducted on draft documents, prior to submission for approval. Specifically, the use of external reviewers to appraise documents against a set of established criteria is a DCD defined requirement for all new Mission Strategies. From time to time, external reviewers may also be assigned to support the appraisal of other DCD produced documents such as policy or technical guidance documents, and large-scale funding frameworks.
